exploring scotland & iceland with 35mm film

At the end of my 2018 wedding season, I boarded a flight to Scotland with a brief layover in Iceland on my return journey via Iceland Air.

I spent the first few days walking the streets of Glasgow with my Leica M6 from sunrise to sunset, trying to take in as much of the city as possible.

After Glasgow, I drove North towards Glencoe and onwards to the Isle of Skye where I stayed near the town of Portree. The next morning, I drove further north to explore the Neist Point Lighthouse before making my way back east toward Loch Ness, where I stayed on a house boat in Inverness.

I then drove Southeast to tour The Glenfiddich Distillery before arriving in Edinburgh where I spent my last few days once again walking the streets from sunrise to sunset.

All of these photos were taken on my Leica M6 with the 7Artisans 35mm f/2 and a combination of Fujifilm Velvia 50, Kodak Porta 160, Portra 800, and Cinestill 50D.

Make it stand out
